The Ninnescah Sailing Association adult sailing program teaches sound fundamental sailing skills in both small sailboats and keelboats while promoting safety education in all aspects of sailing. This program is open to ages 18 and older and boats are provided.

Session 1: June 20, 22, 23, 2024
Session 2: July 11, 13, 14, 2024
Session 3: August 15, 17, 18, 2024
Session 4: TBD (Basic Keelboat only. $75 for members and $125 for nonmembers)

Fees: $195 for members and $250 for non-members.

Enroll with a friend or family member and receive 1/2 price off the second person’s enrollment fee.

Place: SetSail Kansas, Cheney Lake

Basic Sailing classes start on Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. This is an introductory 3-hour classroom session followed by two full days of sailing instruction at Cheney Lake on Saturday and Sunday. You will sail on Sunfish sailboats, participate in several brief sessions of on-shore demonstrations and skill training.
